Autumnal RR

Cathy's Autumnal RR for the Stitching Blogger's Round Robin. All finished now and ready for mailing. I stitched the squirrel. He stitched up really fast only a few hours work. It's a little bit strange though, I've never heard of a brown squirrel, they usually just come in red or grey. I think he looks a bit more like a beaver actually, but what would a beaver be doing in a tree with an Acorn? The mind boggles..... still it's complete now.

This is very cute. We have more chipmunks around here. Maybe a grey squirrel once in awhile.

enjoy your week-end

He is very adorable! I stitched that same squirrel once and thought he looked like Scrat, the squirrel from "Ice Age" (if you've seen it), as mine had a bit of a demented look to him. ;) I work at a university in the US and we have loads of brown squirrels, so I didn't think much about the color...but it begs the question, have you ever seen a black squirrel? We have those here as well although in smaller numbers.

It looks great! And I like brown better than grey... We hardly see squirrels around here, but last time I went to Canterbury, we saw a grey one in the countryside, it stayed a while, curious about stg on the road. I will never forget!

Let's see if blogger will let me post today! It looks great Vash. You're right though, I don't think I've ever seen a brown squirrel. I don't like squirrels at all, as a matter of fact!

Very cute! Great job. I can't believe you are done already! I haven't even started on Jo's fabric. I plan to start on it tonight.
