The Park Bench

By Sunday, you can probably imagine that I felt almost dead! I still didn't want to waste the whole day in bed, so I got the bus to Marazion and tried to sunbathe in the sand dunes above the beach. Unfortunately the sun went in after about half an hour so I went back to Penzance and had a walk around the promenade and through the tropical gardens. I nearly fell asleep on a park bench in the garden, so I went home. I was sitting on my sofa watching Casualty that I had taped the night before and I couldn't keep my eyes open so I went and had a lay down on the bed and went to sleep for 3 hours. I woke up about 7.30, and decided to get undressed and go back to sleep. I slept till 6:00 am, but I guess I must have needed it.
